ABINTRA 8 "BEASTS AND MONSTERS" OVERVIEW

An artistic outing to envelope and smother you.

It's such a remarkable pleasure to recall an enchanting "Beasts and Monsters" night filled with so many cathartic encounters. On Friday, the mood was monstrous as we kicked off the evening with some metamorphic acts, artwork exhibition with a touch of horror and dream-scape haunting tunes played by Dj Cosmic Caz, transforming the old hang-out Hackney local spot The Baths into a fantastical story of duality in its most immersive shape.

Featuring darkness and light elements the stage was divided into two sections to feature unique performance acts, artwork, music or fashion design. All-together translating into a maze or cabinet of curiosities to captivate watchers. Such as those whimsical cyborg-esque nymphs in the abundance of flora, eventually guiding to the shadowy and mysterious cave with an apocalypse-washed botanica,

We are extremely grateful for all performers, artists, designers and our curatorial team who did go extra mile and made this little universal gathering happen.
